Mandatory Driver’s Meeting:  January 14, 2022 at 6:30 PM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Baldwin, MI

It is requested that you bring a non-perishable food donation to support St. Anne’s “Bread Of Life” Food Pantry.  St. Anne’s generously donated use of their facilities for our driver’s meeting

Classes and Entries

Classes Offered (NOTE:  All classes are non-sanctioned):
8 Dog Cross-Country (15 mi)
6 Dog Sprint (5.7 mi)
4 Dog Sprint (5.7 mi)
JR 3 Dog Cross-Country (5.7 mi) must be 12 or under

Entries will be limited to 15 per class for the 8-Dog, 6-Dog and 4-Dog classes and limited to 10 entries for the JR 3-Dog Class.

We are accepting online entries only which will close when the class limit is reached or on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 6PM EST  (whichever comes first)

Entry Waitlist:  Once a class fills up, the bytepro tool will close registration for that class, however we will maintain a wait list.  You can email:  [email protected] to be placed on the waitlist.  Spots that come available will be filled by first come, first served order.

Required Equipment for Cross Country Classes

8-Dog Cross Country Class:
10 lbs dog food
Sleeping bag
Set of booties per dog
Axe/saw
First Aid Kit
Drag brake

JR 3-Dog Cross Country Class:
Helmet must be worn
5 lbs dog food
Sleeping bag
Booties for dog (12)
Compass
First Aid Kit (supplied)
Snack for driver
Drag brake

Additional Race Requirements for all Classes

No Whips
No Wrist Ropes and/or Driver Restraints Allowed
Sled Bag, Snow Hook and Snub Line Required in all classes

8:30 AM:  Sled Bag Checks for 8-Dog Cross County Class and 3-Dog JR Cross Country Class
9:30 AM:  8-Dog Cross Country Class Starts
12:00 PM:  6-Dog Sprint Class Starts
1:00 PM:  4-Dog Sprint Class Starts
2:00 PM:  JR 3-Dog Cross Country Class Starts

Dog Marking will be done via photo verification in the start chute

NOTE:  The Standard Driver’s Release Waiver must be accepted before you can pay for your entries.

Rustic Race Site camping is available, no hookups, electric or water

This is a rustic race site with no onsite buildings – Porta Potties will be on-site

Primos BBQ Food Truck will be onsite offering breakfast and lunch both days

Directions to Race Site

From M 37 turn West on 7th Street at the Wesco Gas Station.  Go 5 blocks to Cherry Street and turn left.  Go to W 52nd Street, which is the first right, follow 2 ½ miles and veer right onto Wingleton Rd. (this is a dirt road). Stay on Wingleton to the race site.   Race site will be on the right.
From US 10: Turn South on Tyndall Road. Go to Stevensen road, turn left. Follow to Wingleton road, turn left. Stay on Wingleton road to race site.   Race Site will be on the left.  Signs will be displayed.

Please join us for the Sponsor’s Super Sprint Race just before the Driver’s Meeting on January 14, 2020 at 4:30 PM.  This will be held next to St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Baldwin, MI
